LJ Koch Group holds the exclusive United States import and distribution contract for Chulele® — single-batch, 100% agave mezcal handcrafted in Oaxaca, Mexico by a four-generation maestro mezcalero family.
Each Chulele batch is produced in strictly limited quantities. When a batch sells through, it is gone. The following releases are currently available through LJ Koch Group for the US market.
Only 1,250 bottles per batch. Intensely aromatic with roasted agave, tropical fruit, and a long mineral finish. Handcrafted using traditional clay pot distillation and stone tahona grinding. A Gold Medal recipient — sought after by serious mezcal collectors and premium on-premise accounts.
View on mezcalchulele.comNamed for Oaxaca's celebrated festival of cultural exchange. Earthy roasted agave, gentle wood smoke, herbaceous notes, and a long warming finish. A classic expression of Oaxacan artisanal mezcal at natural strength — no water added, no additives of any kind.
View on mezcalchulele.comChulele is produced in Oaxaca, Mexico by a maestro mezcalero family that has been making mezcal for four generations using traditional Zapotec methods. Every batch starts in the same palenque, with the same agave fields, the same stone tahona, and the same clay pot stills.
The name "Chulele" comes from the Zapotec word for spirit or soul — an acknowledgement that what goes into the bottle is more than fermented agave. It is a direct expression of place, tradition, and the distiller's craft at a specific moment in time.
No additives. No water adjustment after distillation. No compromise. Each batch is bottled at natural strength and labelled with its ABV, agave type, and batch identifier. What you see is exactly what is in the bottle.
LJ Koch Group supplies Chulele to licensed US wholesalers, distributors, off-premise retailers, and on-premise accounts. Trade enquiries require a valid state liquor license.
