The story behind Chulele

Chulele is produced in Oaxaca, Mexico by a maestro mezcalero family that has been making mezcal for four generations using traditional Zapotec methods. Every batch starts in the same palenque, with the same agave fields, the same stone tahona, and the same clay pot stills.

The name "Chulele" comes from the Zapotec word for spirit or soul — an acknowledgement that what goes into the bottle is more than fermented agave. It is a direct expression of place, tradition, and the distiller's craft at a specific moment in time.

No additives. No water adjustment after distillation. No compromise. Each batch is bottled at natural strength and labelled with its ABV, agave type, and batch identifier. What you see is exactly what is in the bottle.
